A Virtual Round Table on “Building Science Communicators from the Ground Up: Why & How” was organized by DST-UoH Centre for Policy Research (CPR), University of Hyderabad, in collaboration with the DST-Centre for Policy Research, Technology Enabling Centre, and the Government of India, on 6th December 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The discussion highlighted the significance of science communication in STEM education in India, emphasizing the need to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and public understanding. The interaction among experts and participants emphasized the importance of fostering effective science communicators who can make scientific knowledge more accessible, engaging, and impactful for a wider audience.
